Finish line in sight 🏁

The finish line is in sight. The Roadmeister is almost ready to go out for its first ride. But before that, the handlebar tape needs to be added, the bottle cages to be attached, pedals (Look Keo 2 Max Carbon), seatpost and saddle to be installed.
I’ve bought the Ere Research Explorator EVA handlebar tape (see my shopping list) and watched the video below.

The tape feels soft and comfortable. It was easy to attach and it doesn’t use any sticky glue.

I really like to bottle cages. They are super light and bottles fit in perfectly fine.

Be careful when tightening the bolt for the seatpost. It says max 12 Nm but would not go for more than 7 Nm.

I was doubting between the Dura Ace pedals and Look Keo Max 2. I decided (based on advice) to go for Look because of the better price and the possibility to go for the Favero Assioma DUO Powermeter pedals at a later stage. The shoe adapters seem to fit both Look and Favero.
